The Concept of Repair Technology of Earthen Roofs
Trchalík, Jaroslav ; Nevřivová, Lenka (referee) ; Žižková, Nikol (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the technology of redevelopment rehabilitation of the clay roof in the area of the Indian Himalayas. Within the theoretical part is described the history of clay structures in the world to the present. Next part of the thesis describes clay as a building material. Also described is Ladak Country, which is located in the area of the Indian Himalayas, and the reconstruction of the Gonkhang Sanctuary roof in the Buddhist monastýry in the village of Diskit. The partical part is focused on the design of mixtures of individual part sof the roof compositions and the examination of thein kompatibility with the selected foil.
The conductive layers in LTCC
Poledník, Tomáš ; Psota, Boleslav (referee) ; Kosina, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis was focused on a determination of the limits of screen printing and on estabilishing a power loading of layers on LTCC. It describes the print of the conductive themes via the screen-printing method on the substrata. The thesis contains the description of a measuring on the conductive layers, and a processing its results. It was also performed the printing of layers on a corundum ceramics in order to compare the results. From the measured values were formed the graphs, which represent the possibility of the power loading of layers depending on the temperature and on the width of the thick-layer guide.
Isolation, characterization and application of biomedically important polymer P(3HB-co-4HB)
Krupičková, Kristýna ; Přikryl, Radek (referee) ; Obruča, Stanislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the isolation and characterization of copolymer P(3HB-co-4HB). The teoretical part was prepared as a literature search which describe polyhydroxyalkanoates in general, their structure, synthesis, degradation and isolation. Furthermore, copolymers containing 4HB units are mentioned in this thesis and there is also no mentioned of the biosynthesis and biodegradation of copolymer P(3HB-co-4HB). The first aim of this diploma thesis was to find out which solvent is the best for copolymer extraction and then characterize obtained copolymer P(3HB-co-4HB). The isolated copolymer was characterized by gas chromatography, SEC-MALS, thermal analysis and SEM. In the second part of the thesis, release of model biologically active substance from the PHA films was studied. Rhodamine 6G dye was selected for the simulation, which was used to stain the copolymer films and the P(3HB) films. It was observed that film prepared from P(3HB-co-4HB) copolymer released entrapped substance much faster than film made from P3HB homopolymer, and, in addition, the copolymer was substantially more susceptible to enzyme degradation.
Technological phase of the cover ground object

It deals with the structure, roof insulation, nekrokevní, klempířskými and povlakovou-covering elements. The work contains technology rules, a statement of the Bill, the timetable, drawings and other technological documentation stage.
Solubility control of biodegradable starch-based packaging
Krobot, Štěpán ; Ondreáš, František (referee) ; Lepcio, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the preparation and testing of biodegradable films based on starch. The aim of the thesis is laboratory preparation of foils based on various types of starch, glycerol, polyvinylalcohol and with the addition of plasticizer – citric acid. Four different types of starch and two types of polyvinyl alcohol were used. In the first series of samples, the ratio of added glycerol to starch content was varied. Samples in the second series were prepared in the same ratios, but with different PVA. A citric acid solution was added into the last series of samples. The second aim of the thesis, after pressing the films, was to determine their solubility and stability in aqueous media depending on the ratio between added glycerol to starch content, the type of polyvinylalcohol used, and the addition of citric acid to the mixture. It has been found that citric acid appears to affect the chemical structure of the films and thus their solubility in aqueous media as well as their mechanical properties. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was used to study the structure of the films and to elucidate its effect on solubility.
New directions for waterproofing of underground transport
Čech, Tomáš ; Čížek, Luboš (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the implementation of waterproofing of underground constructions using an LLDPE membrane hinged on anchors. In the future, this method will replace the commonly used waterproofing system in Scandinavia with extruded polyethylene foam. This method of tunnel construction and waterproofing is compared with the NRTM method, often used in Central Europe. The thesis describes the installation of a waterproofing system, especially materials, accessories, welding devices and auxiliary installation equipment. The main focus of the thesis is to verify the reliability of the individual types of welds and to assess the waterproofing system in terms of implementation and environmental demands.
Processing optimalization of biodegradable starch based packaging and its characterization for adaptation on production technology
Krahulová, Veronika ; Ondreáš, František (referee) ; Lepcio, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the problematics of preparation of biodegradable starch based packaging. The aim of the thesis is to optimize the preparation and verify the characteristics for further adaptation and production technologies. The films consisted of starch, PVA and glycerol. Four types of starches, three types of PVA and different ratios of glycerol were tested. Films were prepared by casting with glycerol as a plasticizer, instead of distilled water, to reduce the energy cost of the preparation. The mechanical properties of the films were tested as well. The experimentally determined values of elongation at break and tensile strength of the wheat starch films were compared with a semiempirical model. Results revealed that the preparation of thermoplasticization of starch with glycerol leads to a considerable increase in elongation at break but at the same time to a marked decrease in tensile strength compared to the preparation from solution. The rheological properties of the prepared films were also investigated. Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) were used to study the structure of the films.
Golden foils from Borg - iconographical and religious analysis
Gorroňová, Marianna ; Starý, Jiří (advisor) ; Janák, Jiří (referee)
5A Abstract This work gives the analysis of iconographic elements which are found on five gold foils. These foils depict two figures which look at each other from their profile. Foils were found in the foundations of the chieftain house in Lofot's islands in Northern Norway, which is from the Migration to the Viking period. For the reason of analysis the author demonstrates three main groups of gold objects - gold bracteates, gold foils and one medallion. On these objects we can find a pair of two figures and these objects were found in Scandinavia. The author presents here the context of such finds, iconographic elements and academic interpretations of the depiction. Author compares the elements such as type of foil, appearance of eyes, posture of man and woman, their dress and haidress with 91 foils from Scandinavia, and also with bracteates and other objects. She notices the partial concordance among these elements and the other objects and she seeks the iconographic essence and function of each foil from Borg which is later confronted with the theories of the influence of religion. Because of lack of attributes on the foils, the author's assumption is that there is no general depiction of gods on the foil. On the other hand, each foil has its own story showing people from their common life. According to...
